My brother Pat got married yesterday - it was a wonderful day and event. I had high hopes to snap lots of photos, but Wendy and I had our hands full with Fiona, who decided 10 minutes into the ceremony that she wanted to be somewhere else. We tried our best to keep her occupied with a book, a toy, a doll, some snacks, her pacifier, the wedding program - but each attempt only worked for about 45 seconds.

Our lives became much easier a few weeks ago when Fiona - finally - started holding her bottle by herself. As you can see, she's pretty comfortable!
Still no first steps, though she is getting very close. She'll climb up on anything - furniture, toys, our legs, the dog. But she's not ready to walk just yet. Fiona has been on her own schedule, going back to when she was born - 7 days after her due date! Any day now, she's going to decide to give this walking thing a try. Can't wait!

We're stuck indoors because it's so cold out - 19 degrees today. Miserable! A couple of weeks ago we walked to the playground and put Fiona in a swing for the first time. She loved it! Though you can't really tell from this picture. We're all very excited for the temps to get warmer so we can go back and have more fun.
